Tomasinos Pizza (Formally Lil Anthony's) has joined the ranks of good pizza concepts that are now franchising. The Gegaj Family has been in the restaurant business for many years, serving up pizzas made fresh at the restaurant, from the dough to the sauce.
"We import our tomatoes from San Marzano, Italy. Those are the only tomatoes that we ue in our sauce, " said owner Elizabeth Gegaj. "They require little to almost no seasoning, becasue they're such a tasty tomato."
Tomasino's recently participated in the Pints N' Paw event in Sanford, Florida.

ON THE GO: Brown Bag Goes Mobile In Maryland
Brown Bag restaurants, best known for their healthy "cuisine on the fly", has thrown its apron into the food truck world this week in Maryland, and already, Twitter fans are sending requests to have the Brown Bag truck come to their street. "Please come to Fishers Lane in Rockville!" said one excited fan after they tweeted their big news--and they plan to.
If all goes well, Fishers Lane in Montgomery County, Maryland, will be the first of many stops. Brown Bag is planning on getting their feet wet in Montgomery County before eventually going mobile in DC and Virginia as well. Brown Bag owner, Erich Fuldner, had this to say about the decision to hit the streets with a food truck: "We have a lot of customers who visit our stores while on business, but there are no stores near their offices. We always get requests to open a store here or there. We thought it was a good idea to bring the food to our fans that are unable to visit our stores because there isn't one near them. This also gives us an opportunity to 'test' a certain market. Since we already do a significant amount of corporate catering, this mobile kitchen will also be available for any corporate events."
