Paul Samson
Mr. Samson founded The Franchise Sales Solution because of a need that he saw in the market for an affordable, client focused franchise sales solution. As the President & Founder of The Franchise Edge, Paul has helped over 100 companies launch their Franchise program. He saw a strong need to add an ongoing Sales Solution for his clients, so he created The Franchise Sales Solution in order to further help his clients grow. His experience in franchising began as President and Founder of Lenny & Vinny’s Management, Inc., a corporately owned and managed pizza chain that he operated for 14 years and grew to 14 units before deciding to franchise. Mr. Samson was also the Founder of Head West Enterprises, LLC, which grew the Westshore Pizza chain from 16 stores to 52 stores in 3 ½ years, with an additional 90 units committed and combined sales of over $27,000,000 prior to the sale and transition of the marks.
Richard Heruska
Rich is a seasoned sales and operations executive with a passion for helping company’s achieve exponential growth and profitability. Prior to The Franchise Sales Solution, Rich was the Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer for Home Discovery Real Estate where he led day to day operations, helped create four revenue producing divisions, and lead a sales & operations force of over 250 people. During Rich’s tenure, the company closed over 10,000 Real Estate transactions and saved homeowners over $40 Million in Real Estate Commissions. Home Discovery was recognized with several prominent accolades including the 2005 State of Florida Governor’s Entrepreneurship Award. Prior to Home Discovery, Rich Co-Founded Johnston & Johnston Financial Services, a mortgage lender later acquired by Home Discovery.
Rich’s Sales, Operations, Company Expansion, & Real Estate experience all add significant depth to the services of The Franchise Sales Solution. He treats each and every partnered company as his own and takes pride in delivering world class service to all clients.
Neysa Smith
Ms. Smith is a Business Entrepreneur and has been a Franchisor of two International Fitness franchises. She has been the Franchise Sales Director for the You Say When Yogurt Shoppe franchise, and Senior Project Manager and Franchise Sales Executive for The Franchise Edge and The Franchise Sales Solution. Neysa brings an extensive depth of franchise sales experience and her track record is one of the best in the industry.
She has also served as President of World Travel Pros Travel Agency, President of Tampa Bay Helicopters, and President of The Blitz Franchising Corp. Neysa has also held the positions of International Franchise Sales Director for Ultimate Woman 20 Minute Fitness and Director, Secretary and Vice President of Franchise Development for The Blitz, Inc.
Her many years of experience in Franchise Sales and Business Licensing includes the Restaurant, Home Improvement, Fitness, Tanning, Martial Arts, Garden Centers, Travel and Telecommunications industries. She is also tri-lingual, speaking English, Spanish and French.
Dan Dormer
Mr. Dormer has an extensive background in the hospitality and food service industries.
He has been manager for a contract food service company that was responsible for all the food and beverage service for concerts, sporting events, trade shows, conventions and banquets in multiple venues. He has over 15 years experience in guest service and finance in the hotel industry working for Marriott and Sheraton hotels and resorts throughout the United States. Mr. Dormer was one of the founders of multi-unit sports themed restaurant company that catered to families and sports fans of all ages.
Mr. Dormer is a licensed real estate agent and business broker specializing in the sale and purchase of small and medium sized privately owned businesses and commercial real estate transactions that involve retail sales and lease transactions.
Marilyn Jett
Marilyn Jett has been actively involved with real estate for over 30 years. Initially beginning with a family owned real estate company, Marilyn began her own real estate and appraisal company in 1980. For the last 20 years her primary focus has been commercial real estate and development. Together with commercial brokers and investors she has been instrumental in tenant procurement and retail development. Her designations have included Broker, CCIM, Realtor, Appraiser, Investment Consultant and owner of several companies including retail, real estate, marketing and promotions.
This extensive background has brought Marilyn full circle as a franchise consultant. While watching retailers and private owners work their entire life in successful and unique businesses only to reach retirement age and sell their business, she realized that franchising was a better answer. Franchising allows the business owners to develop an ongoing stream of royalty income, in addition to the profit generated from selling their location so that individuals do not have to liquidate their real estate and business that they have sunk their entire lives into. By using her experience and expertise Ms Jett is able to help successfully guide these American entrepreneurs in the franchising direction.
Annette Samson
Ms. Samson has extensive sales and marketing experience, having worked as a national account manager and data consultant with MCI Worldcom. More recently, she has managed the sales development process for a retail wine franchise and an emerging toy chain.
Dale Waite
Mr. Waite brings over 20 years of franchise experience to The Franchise Edge. He opened his first business, an automotive franchise, in 1986. After selling the business, he went into franchise development and sold master franchises for a major food franchisor based in Georgia. Mr. Waite also owned a travel agency for 19 years and was a multi-unit franchise owner for 15 years with Regis franchising. Mr. Waite has worked with numerous franchise companies and was the Director of Franchise Development for Units Storage, an east coast mobile storage franchise, until January 2008. Having owned and operated franchises, Dale brings an understanding of the needs of both franchisees and franchisors alike.
Darren Yelin
Mr. Yelin has spent the past 15 years consulting and franchising for various brands in North America. He has sold hundreds of territories throughout the US and Canada to meet the needs of franchisors and franchisees. Mr. Yelin has an extensive sales and marketing background working with both startup and well established brands.
